Algerian martyr :

Larbi Ben M’hidi 

Arrested the end of February 1957 and died under torture on the fourth night of March 1957, after he gave a lesson in heroism and patience to his executioners. Said the French General Marcel Béjart after he and his souldiers gave up on Larbi Ben mhidi to take his confession or telling on his colleagues despite the doom he been through even that his face has been striped from the skin,and before his assassination Arab Benmehidi  smiled to his executioners mocking them, here the general Béjart raise his hand to greet the martyr as if he was his leader, and then He said: “If I had a three men like Larbi Ben mhidi i would be able to conquer the world”. In 2001 the French General Paul Osarris recognized to the newspaper “Le Monde” that he killed Arbi Benmehidi hanging with his hands.

The Algerian War (Arabic: ثورة جزائرية‎ Thawra Jazā’irīya, “Algerian Revolution”;Frensh: Guerre d’Algérie) was a conflict between France and Algerian independence movements from 1954 to 1962, which led to Algeria’s gaining its independence from France.

TAL AFAR, IRAQ - JANUARY 18, 2005:  An Iraqi girl screams after her parents were killed when U.S. Soldiers with the 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Stryker Brigade Combat Team of the 25th Infantry Division out of Ft. Lewis, Washington, fired on their car when it failed to stop and came toward soldiers, despite warning shots, during a dusk patrol. The car held an Iraqi family of seven of which the mother and father were killed. Their five children in the backseat survived, one with a non-life threatening flesh wound.
